The Industrial park is under restoration. It was founded at the beginning of the past century, thanks to Società Italiana for sugar refining; it had become more and more efficient until 1978, when it was dismissed and its plant area was intended to be sold.
In 1980, Bassano Grimeca bought most part of the area. On the 14^th December 1991, The “Società per Azioni Centro Servizi S.p.a.” was founded. The founding investors were: the Municipality of Rovigo, the Rovigo Province Government, the C.C.I.A.A. of Rovigo, the Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo and Veneto S.p.A.

Funds coming from The European Union, Veneto Region and Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo Foundation were used to restore most part of the area. Currently some buildings are occupied by the University of Padua, or used for temporary exhibitions.
On the 19^th January 2001, the Partners’ Meeting decided to convert the Real Estate to a Managing Authority for the promotion and organization of trade shows, and conferences. A large area is furnished for this purpose, thanks to an agreement subscribed jointly with Padova Fiere (Padua Fair).
